Abstract
This study aims to determine the mechanism for determining beneficiary families (KPM) of the Family Hope Program, evaluation of the implementation of the distribution of the Family Hope Program and obstacles in implementing the distribution of the Family Hope Program as an effort to reduce poverty by social services in Tameran Village, Bengkalis Regency. The type of data used in this study is descriptive qualitative data. The research data were obtained from the Bengkalis Regency Social Service and beneficiaries of the Family Hope Program in Tameran Village, Bengkalis Regency. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation and documentation with purposive sampling. The results show that the determination of participants for the Family Hope Program is based on existing data in the Integrated Social Welfare Data system (DTKS), but the condition of the participants is still checked until it is re-verified by the Ministry of Social Affairs. Good distribution of the Family Hope Program must meet the right target, on time, in the right amount and right administration. In this case, the distribution of the Family Hope Program by the Social Service in Tameran Village, Bengkalis Regency has fulfilled the rules of being right on target and in the right amount. Meanwhile, efforts to reduce poverty in Tameran Village, Bengkalis Regency through the Family Hope Program are the best and most appropriate choice, because conditional social assistance can help pay for education and health for the poor. The obstacles in the implementation of the Distribution of the Family Hope Program in Tameran Village, Bengkalis Regency, are the first related to data on Beneficiary Families (KPM). And the second is related to the disbursement of social assistance for the Family Hope Program, namely the lack of understanding of Beneficiary Families (KPM) when using ATM/KKS cards.
