Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of educational level, understanding of accounting and utilization of information technology on the quality of financial reports in cooperatives in Bengkalis district. The results showed that partially the variable level of education and utilization of information technology had a positive effect on the Quality of Financial Reports and Understanding of Accounting had no effect on the Quality of Financial Reports in cooperatives in Bengkalis District. The results of this study indicate that the t value of each independent variable is 3,155 for the level of education, 0,459 for understanding of accounting and 2,869 for the use of information technology, while the value of t table is 2,015 (tcount > ttable) which means the level of education and use of technology information affects the quality of financial reports in cooperatives.
