Abstract
This study aims to determine the Distribution and Distribution of Regional Expenditures in Riau Province in 2017-2021. This research is descriptive quantitative, the sampling technique uses purposive sampling, the subject of this research is the place where the research was conducted, namely Riau Province, data collection is done with Documentary because the data obtained by researchers from agencies/institutions that have been trusted for the truth both in terms of credibility and validity. The distribution of spending is actually used as much as possible for the needs of public services and the welfare of the local government community, regional spending consists of operational spending (personnel spending, goods and services spending, grant spending and social assistance spending), capital spending, unexpected spending and transfer spending ( revenue-sharing spending and financial assistance spending) each expenditure gets a portion according to their respective needs. The results of this study indicate that the distribution of spending from 2017 to 2021 is mostly used for salary and allowance spending, grant spending, social assistance spending in education and infrastructure spending, this proves that the distribution and distribution of Riau Province government spending has been carried out in accordance with public needs.
