Abstract
The rapid advancement of information technology has greatly facilitated the process of searching for various types of information. One of these aspects is finding information about tourist destinations and accommodations for vacations. This study is focused on the search for tourist destinations and accommodations on Rupat Island. While the Rupat Island beach is relatively well-known among the public, information regarding tourist attractions and available accommodations remains scarce and incomplete. To address this issue, a web-based application for providing information about tourist destinations and accommodations on Rupat Island has been developed. This application was built using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework for website development, and MySQL serves as its database management system. Testing was carried out directly by tourism administrators (North Rupat Tourism Office), accommodation owners, and users or the general public. Each feature of the system was tested to ensure the proper functioning of the application. Based on the testing results, it can be concluded that the implemented features are operational and align with the intended objectives. This application proves beneficial by aiding tourism administrators in promoting tourist destinations, assisting accommodation owners in promoting their lodgings, and providing prospective travelers with a convenient platform to search for travel information and make accommodation reservations.
