Abstract

Most fishermen in fishing operations use boats made of wood. The manufacture of a wooden construction ship is mostly built by ship craftsmen in traditional shipyards. Calculation of the modulus of the profiles of a ship construction is one of the activities that require more accuracy because of the many profile components of each construction part. Of all the existing programs, all of them focus on speed and convenience. The design process of this local shipping wooden fishing boat construction programming software is based on the construction size database from the Indonesian Classification Bureau rules on wooden ship construction. This software serves to determine the size of the construction cross-section based on the main size by finding the value of the existing construction sizes in the Indonesian Classification Bureau rules on wooden ship construction.
