Abstract
Indonesia, as an agrarian nation, encompasses a wide variety of plant types, including horticulture. A significant portion of Indonesia's population earns their livelihood through farming. Bantan District produces a total of 4,204.75 tons from 15 horticultural commodities in the year 2022. The success of the agricultural sector is undoubtedly intertwined with the role of agricultural counseling activities. Effective counseling relies on the collaboration of three fundamental components: information sources, counselors, and farmers, working together to solve issues. Historically, counseling activities have been carried out on a monthly basis. Additionally, farmers have the option to request counseling by submitting applications to the Agricultural Counseling Center in Bantan district, Bengkalis Regency. However, this process can be time-consuming. This study proposes an Android-based agricultural counseling application that leverages information and communication technology to facilitate and expedite communication, guidance, and the dissemination of information between farmers and agricultural counselors, particularly in the field of horticulture within Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency
