Abstract
This study aims to analyze investment opportunities and potential in the Bengkalis Regency area as well as the factors that influence investment in Bengkalis Regency. This type of research is a qualitative research. The types of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data, with data collection techniques used namely interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that Bengkalis Regency has a great opportunity to receive investment sourced from Domestic Investment (PMDN) and Foreign Investment (PMA) in each sector. Investment in the Bengkalis Regency area is influenced by the potential of the region, the lack of investor knowledge, the accuracy of the policies issued by the Regional Government and the availability of infrastructure and facilities. The obstacle experienced is the lack of awareness of investors as investors in reporting investments so that the One-Stop Investment and Integrated Service Service conducts socialization on investment procedures in Bengkalis Regency, promotes investors to the potential provided by Bengkalis Regency in receiving investment, provides a Service System Electronic Investment Information and Licensing.
