Peran KSOP Kelas IV Bengkalis dalam Meminimalisir Insiden Kapal di Selat Bengkalis

This Final Project Proposal Research is related to the role of KSOP Class IV Bengkalis in minimizing ship incidents in the Bengkalis Strait. The formulation of the research problem is what are the efforts of KSOP Class IV Bengkalis in minimizing accidents and what are the obstacles faced by KSOP Class IV Bengkalis in monitoring shipping in the Bengkalis Strait. This research is limited to the role of KSOP in minimizing ship incidents in the Bengkalis Strait. The aim of this research is to understand the role of KSOP Class IV Bengkalis and identify the obstacles faced by KSOP Class IV Bengkalis in supervising shipping in the Bengkalis Strait. The benefits that can be concluded from the problem formulation and research objectives are providing information about the level of ship incidents in the Bengkalis Strait and the role of KSOP Class IV Bengkalis in minimizing these incidents, helping to increase awareness and knowledge about the importance of the role of KSOP Class IV Bengkalis, and providing recommendations to improve the performance of KSOP Class IV Bengkalis. Based on observations and field documentation, the role of the Class IV Bengkalis Office of Shipping Safety and Port Authority (KSOP) in minimizing ship accidents in the Bengkalis Strait area is very important and well-structured. In addition to technical inspections, KSOP is also actively providing education to captains and crew members through maritime safety socialization programs.
