Abstract

The advancement of technology in the construction industry demands more accurate and efficient methods for quantity calculation. Building Information Modeling (BIM) enables the integration of design information, 3D visualization, and the automatic generation of Quantity Take Off (QTO). Autodesk Revit, as a BIM-based software, provides detailed structural modeling that helps reduce calculation errors commonly found in conventional manual methods. This study aims to evaluate the accuracy of work volume calculations for the STAIN Bengkalis Multi-Purpose Building project using Autodesk Revit. Based on the modeling results, the total concrete volume obtained is 10,854 m³. The QTO results generated by Revit were compared with manual calculations to assess their reliability. The findings indicate that Revit is capable of producing accurate quantity outputs for structural elements such as pile caps, pedestal columns, main columns, practical columns, and ring beams. Differences were only found in the sloof beam volume, with a deviation of 0,19%. Overall, Autodesk Revit improves efficiency and accuracy in quantity estimation and can be considered a reliable tool for construction project planning.
