Evaluasi User Interface Pada Website Desa Bantan Tua Menggunakan Metode Heuristic Evaluation

The Bantan Tua Village website serves as an information and public service platform for the community. However, several issues in the user interface and errors in some features have caused users to experience difficulties when accessing the site. This research aims to evaluate and improve the website’s interface so that it becomes easier to understand, more comfortable to use, and functions properly. The Heuristic Evaluation method was applied to assess usability based on Nielsen’s ten principles, involving respondents as website users. In addition, a security analysis using OWASP ZAP was conducted to identify potential vulnerabilities that may affect the system’s security. The evaluation results indicate various usability problems, including navigation issues, inconsistent design elements, unclear icons, lack of system feedback, and improper layout structure. Meanwhile, the security scan shows that all findings fall under the informational category, meaning no highrisk vulnerabilities were detected. Based on these findings, a redesigned interface prototype was developed as a recommendation to make the website more userfriendly, responsive, and secure for public use.
