Analysis of the Roles of Project Manager in Organizing Ranking 1 Events at Polbeng Business Expo Chapter Two

This research aims to discuss the Role of the Project Manager in managing the Ranking 1 event organized in the Polbeng Business Expo Chapter Two event. This research uses qualitative methods by collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The selection of research subjects used purposive sampling technique, which included the core team, support team, and teachers who accompanied the participants. The Role of Project Managers in this study is seen through Managerial Roles, which include Interpersonal Roles, Informational Roles, and Decisional Roles, as well as the stages of organizing events consisting of Research, Design, Planning, Coordination, and Evaluation. During the implementation stage, the Project Manager organizes all team members so that the event goes according to plan. In the evaluation stage, the Project Manager evaluates the results of the event and recognizes problems that occur so that they can be corrected in the future. Overall, the role of the Project Manager made a major contribution to the success of the Ranking 1 event at Polbeng Business Expo Chapter Two.
