Pengaruh Right Issue Terhadap Harga Saham Dan Kinerja Saham Pada Perusahaan Pertambangan Yang Terdaftar Di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2021-2024

A rights issue is a corporate action that gives existing shareholders the right to purchase new shares proportionally before they are offered to outside parties. This study aims to analyze the effect of rights issues on stock prices and stock performance in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2021–2024. Using purposive sampling, a number of companies were selected as samples. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression with the help of statistical software. The results show that a right issue has a positive and significant effect on stock prices. However, a right issue does not have a significant effect on stock performance. Thus, it can be concluded that rights issues only have a statistical effect on stock prices, not on stock performance.
