Pengendalian Persediaan Untuk Optimalisasi Profit (Studi Kasus Pada Waroeng Roti & Kue Ak Bengkalis)

This study aims to analyze the raw material inventory control system and the constraints encountered in its management, as well as to formulate effective inventory control strategies to optimize profits at UMKM Waroeng Roti & Kue AK Bengkalis. The research method employed is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews with the business owner and production staff, and documentation related to production costs and raw material inventories. The results indicate that the raw material inventory control system at UMKM Waroeng Roti & Kue AK Bengkalis is still simple and not well-structured. Inventory records are still maintained manually without standardized formats and are not consistently implemented, which increases the risk of recording errors and discrepancies between physical stock and recorded data. In addition, the enterprise has not established a minimum inventory level (reorder point), causing raw material purchasing to be unplanned and potentially disrupting production continuity as well as increasing operational costs.
