Sistem Monitoring Dan Pencatatan Hafalan Murid Pada Program Pengajian Al-qur'an di Tpq Al-Islamiyah Menggunakan Metode Prototyping

Al-Qur’an education plays an important role in shaping children’s character and moral values from an early age, one of which is implemented through Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPQ). TPQ Al-Islamiyah, as a non-formal educational institution, still manages students’ memorization records, attendance, activity schedules, and payments manually using written books. This manual system causes various problems, such as the risk of data loss and damage, difficulties in searching information, and limitations in delivering memorization progress reports to parents. These conditions become increasingly ineffective along with the growing number of students and learning activities at TPQ Al-Islamiyah. This research aims to design and develop a digital monitoring and recording system for students’ Qur’an memorization in the Al-Qur’an recitation program at TPQ Al-Islamiyah. The system development method used in this research is the Prototyping method, which allows direct interaction and feedback from users so that the developed system meets real field requirements. The stages of this method include requirement communication, quick planning, initial design, prototype development, as well as system evaluation and refinement. The result of this research is a web-based information system capable of managing student data, memorization records, attendance, activity schedules, and payment information in an integrated manner. This system is expected to assist teachers (ustadz and ustadzah) in monitoring students’ memorization progress more easily and accurately, while also providing parents with access to information regarding their children’s memorization development. Therefore, the implementation of this system can improve data management effectiveness, learning monitoring quality, and communication between TPQ administrators and parents.
