Abstract

The management of teaching and picket reports at SMK Negeri 2 Bengkalis currently relies on physical logbooks, which leads to inefficient validation of the alignment between teaching materials and Lesson Plans (RPP) and makes realtime monitoring difficult. This research aims to develop a system using the UserCentered Design (UCD) method to ensure the system is developed according to the needs and characteristics of users within the school environment. The primary focus of this study is the integration of the Levenshtein Distance algorithm as an automatic validation instrument to measure the level of text similarity between teacher activity reports and RPP documents. The results indicate that the implementation of the Levenshtein Distance algorithm successfully performs automatic validation by providing precise similarity scores. Based on the testing results, the system establishes a threshold of 70% as the validation standard to accommodate variations in material descriptions while maintaining curriculum consistency. Usability testing through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) demonstrates that all functional features, including the automatic validation feature, operate with a 100% success rate, proving that the system is feasible for optimizing school administration.
