Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged printing businesses to utilize digital systems to improve service efficiency and structured data management. However, web-based systems pose security risks, particularly in the authentication process, which is vulnerable to weak passwords and unauthorized access. This study aims to implement and analyze the application of PSV (Voter Validation) in a web-based print product order monitoring system at Pemuda Grafika Bengkalis. The development method used is Prototype through the design and construction stages of the system based on user needs. Security mechanisms are implemented through rule-based password strength validation and entropy calculations during the registration process, as well as limiting the number of login attempts to reduce repeated authentication. Analysis was conducted on actual data from 30 users stored in the system database. The results show that 60% of passwords are in the strong category, 33.3% are in the medium category, and 6.6% are in the weak and very weak categories. The system also limits login attempts after three failures with a temporary access pause. These findings indicate that the implementation of PSV and login restrictions supports increased authentication security without disrupting the operational needs of the order monitoring system.
