Analisis Tingkat Kesadaran Mahasiswa Terhadap Keamanan Informasi Melalui Simulasi Serangan Email Phishing Menggunakan Gophish

Email phishing remains one of the major threats in information security and often exploits users’ low level of awareness, including students in higher education institutions. The problem addressed in this study is the limited number of studies that measure students’ awareness of phishing based on actual user behavior through attack simulations. This study aims to analyze students’ awareness of information security through email phishing attack simulations using GoPhish. The research method employed is an experimental approach by implementing simulated email phishing attacks on students as research respondents. The simulation was conducted using GoPhish to distribute phishing emails and record respondents’ responses. The results show that out of 96 phishing emails sent, 87 emails were opened (90.6%), 72 respondents clicked on the phishing links (75.0%), and 68 respondents submitted data through the landing page (70.8%). Based on the non-click indicator, the level of students’ awareness of phishing attacks was 25%, while the level of vulnerability reached 75%. These results indicate that students’ awareness of information security remains relatively low, highlighting the need for increased education and awareness programs regarding phishing threats in the academic environment.
