The search for boarding houses on Bengkalis Island is still mostly done manually, making it difficult for prospective tenants to obtain the information needed quickly and accurately. In addition, boarding house owners also do not have digital media to promote their properties effectively. This research aims to design and build a web-based boarding house information system that can be used as a media for searching and managing boarding house data online. The system is equipped with user security and access management features, in order to maintain the confidentiality of user personal data and registered property information, with the stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. To improve the security of the database structure, the use of UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) is applied as the main identifier, so that data is more difficult to manipulate or guess. The technologies used in system development include PHP and MySQL. The result of this research is a website that facilitates users in finding boarding houses and helps boarding house owners in managing data safely and efficiently.
