Analisis Preventif Maintenance Pada Pompa Sentrifugal Menggunakan Metode Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) dan Mean Time To Repair (MTTR)

Centrifugal pumps are essential equipment in fluid distribution systems that operate continuously and are prone to failures affecting system reliability. This study aims to analyze pump failures and maintenance effectiveness using the Analisis Preventif Maintenance Pump Sentrifugal For Metode Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) Dan Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) methods. A quantitative research approach was applied by analyzing historical data on operating time, failure frequency, and repair duration over a specific period. The MTBF value is used to determine the reliability level of the centrifugal pump, while the MTTR value evaluates the efficiency of repair activities. The results indicate that a higher MTBF reflects better pump reliability, whereas a lower MTTR indicates more efficient maintenance performance. The findings conclude that planned and reliability-based maintenance can reduce downtime and improve the performance and service life of centrifugal pumps. This research is expected to provide a reference for developing more effective maintenance strategies to enhance pump system reliability.
