Rancang Bangun Mesin Traktor Mini

Farmer groups in Deluk Village, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency are still doing a lot of manual land cultivation. This process requires a lot of time and effort, and the results of tillage are often suboptimal. This condition encourages the need for more efficient and easy-to-use tools by local farmers. As a solution, a prototype of a mini tractor was designed that is able to loosen the soil effectively. This tool uses a gasoline engine as a driving source, a plow system as a soil processing medium, and a frame made of elbow iron. The research includes needs analysis, design, manufacturing, and field testing. The test results show that the tool can function well in loosening soil, is easy to operate by one person, and is suitable for use on narrow farmland. This prototype is expected to be an appropriate technology that can help small farmers in Deluk Village in improving work efficiency and land processing productivity.
