Kesiapan Alat Operasional dalam Kegiatan Bongkar Muat di PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas Perawang

This study aims to assess the operational readiness of equipment used in loading and unloading activities at PT Pelindo Tenninal Petikemas Perawang, identify the factors influencing equipment readiness and the obstacles encountered, and examine the measures taken to maintain such readiness. The study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and subsequently analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion-drawing techniques. The results indicate that operational equipment readiness is influenced by maintenance practices, spare parts availability, the competence of operators and technicians, and operational supervision. Obstacles identified include equipment breakdowns, delays in spare parts procurement, and weather conditions. Measures undertaken by the company include routine maintenance, periodic inspections, human resource competency development, and effective coordination between the operations and maintenance departments to ensure smooth and efficient loading and unloading activities.
