Rancang Bangun Sistem Pelaporan Kasus Pelecehan Seksual Dengan Fitur Pelapor Anonim Berbasis Website Di Lingkungan Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis

The mechanism for reporting sexual harassment cases plays a crucial role in creating a safe and comfortable campus environment. However, at State Polytechnic of Bengkalis, the existing reporting mechanism does not yet provide an anonymous reporting feature, causing some students and members of the academic community to hesitate to report incidents due to concerns that their identities may be disclosed. To address this issue, this study aims to develop an anonymous web-based sexual harassment reporting system for the State Polytechnic of Bengkalis environment. The novelty of this research lies in the implementation of a reporting mechanism that allows users to submit reports without logging in or revealing their identities. The system is equipped with a report status tracking feature using a unique report code, as well as report management by administrators and the Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (PPKS Task Force). The system enables reporters to submit case information, including the chronology of the incident, the date and location of the incident, and supporting evidence when necessary, without providing personal identity information. The system was developed using the Waterfall software development methodology, which consists of the requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance phases. The application was developed using PHP with the Laravel framework and MySQL as the database management system to support efficient and secure data management. The results indicate that the system was successfully implemented according to user requirements. Based on the testing results, all main features, including anonymous reporting, report management by administrators, the investigation process by the PPKS Task Force, and report status tracking using a report code, functioned properly. The system assists the institution in managing reports in a more structured manner while providing a reporting platform that protects the confidentiality of reporters' identities.
