Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Penjualan Hewan Ternak Untuk Aqiqah Dan Qurban Berbasis Web

The buying and selling process of livestock in Bengkalis Regency is generally still conducted manually. Buyers are required to visit the farm location directly to check livestock availability, find out prices, and ensure physical conditions. This method is considered less than optimal in terms of time and effort, and makes it difficult for farmers to expand their marketing reach and manage stock data. This study aims to design and build a web-based livestock sales application for aqiqah and qurbani. The application was developed using the framework Laravel and database MySQL, featuring a catalog that presents detailed information regarding livestock specifications, as well as a direct messaging feature to facilitate communication between buyers and farmers without switching to other applications. The results of the study indicate that the application was successfully built and is capable of assisting farmers in managing livestock data, as well as making it easier for buyers to obtain information without having to visit the farm location directly. System testing using the Black Box method shows that all application functions, ranging from catalog management, shopping cart, checkout, payment proof upload, transaction verification, direct messaging, comments, to order history, operate properly as expected. Testing on laptop and smartphone devices, as well as on browser Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge, also demonstrates that the system displays correctly and meets expectations. Thus, this application can serve as an appropriate and effective solution for farmers and buyers in Bengkalis Regency.
