Sistem Informasi Bantuan Sosial Berbasis Web Di Desa Sebangar

This research addresses issues in the management and distribution of social assistance in Sebangar Village, which is currently still carried out conventionally. The use of spreadsheet applications (Microsoft Excel) and manual recording often leads to duplication of recipient data (duplicate National Identification Numbers), subjective validation of poverty criteria, and difficulties for village leaders in transparently entering aid history. To address these issues, a web-based Targeted Social Assistance Information System was designed and built for use by residents, administrators, and village heads. This system implements a targeting method through automated criteria assessment to improve recipient accuracy. In the proposed system, administrators have the authority to conduct field verification and update aid status, while village heads participate in integrating all reports and activity logs to ensure data integrity. The system was built using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and a MySQL database. Test results indicate that all system features operate according to functional requirements, minimize data input errors, and provide real-time aid status information to the community. This system is expected to improve the efficiency, objectivity, and effectiveness of social assistance distribution in Sebangar Village.
