Abstract

Water is a primary need in daily life, so water quality must be maintained to ensure its suitability for use. In drilled wells, water conditions can change due to dissolved substance content, turbidity levels, and pH values that do not meet standards. Therefore, in this final project, an Internet of Things (IoT)-based water quality and turbidity monitoring system for drilled wells was designed and built. This system uses an ESP32 microcontroller as a data processing center with several sensors: a TDS sensor to measure dissolved substance levels, a turbidity sensor to determine turbidity levels, and a pH sensor to measure water acidity. The measurement data is processed by the ESP32, then displayed on a 20x4 LCD and sent in real-time via the internet to the Blynk application for remote monitoring using a smartphone. Test results show that the system is capable of accurately reading TDS, turbidity, and pH values and displaying data locally and online. With this tool, users can monitor the quality of drilled well water quickly, practically, and efficiently, thus assisting in decision-making regarding the suitability of water use.
