Abstract
Utilizing industrial solid decanter waste serves as an eco-friendly alternative to fly ash in high-strength concrete mixtures. This study aims to analyze the impact of using solid decanter waste as a substitute for fly ash and adding admixtures on the mechanical properties and cost-efficiency of concrete with design strengths of f’c 35 MPa and f’c 40 MPa, referencing the 2026 Bina Marga Unit Price Analysis (AHSP). The research employed an experimental laboratory methodology involving a 25% substitution of fly ash with solid decanter waste and the addition of admixtures.
Testing covered fresh concrete slump values and the compressive strength of concrete cylinders at 7, 14, and 28 days. Economic feasibility was evaluated based on material unit price breakdowns and labor costs in accordance with the 2026 Bina Marga AHSP standards. The study results are expected to meet the target compressive strengths of f’c 35 MPa and 40 MPa using the mix proportions specified in the 2026 Bina Marga AHSP.
