Abstract
The discussion of this study is to determine the performance of human resources in service at PT. Urban Shipping Agency, and to find out the obstacles in improving the performance of human resources. The formulation of the problem. How to improve the performance of human resources in service at PT. Urban Shipping Agency and What are the obstacles found before improving the performance of its human resources. The purpose of this research is to find out the efforts to improve the performance of human resources and the obstacles in improving the performance of human resources. The place for this research was conducted at PT.Urban Shipping Agency Dumai, when the research was carried out from February to July 2023. The theory used is Effort, Improvement, Performance, Human Resources. The method used is the method of Observation, Interview, and Documentation. The results of the research are how to improve the performance of human resources, namely by increasing the number of employees, conducting training for employees, implementing HR consolidation. training for employees in each field.
