Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out how the process of inputting data for incoming and outgoing containers at the depot of PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines Batam Branch, to find out the constraints and obstacles experienced in the process of inputting data for incoming and outgoing containers at the PT depot. Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines Batam Branch, and to find out how the solution is to overcome obstacles and obstacles in the process of inputting data for incoming and outgoing containers at the depot of PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines Batam Branch. The research method that will be used is descriptive qualitative using data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted for 2 months from May to July. The results of the study indicate that the process of inputting data for incoming and outgoing containers at the Batam branch of PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines depot is still done manually and has not been properly integrated, so it takes a lot of time and has the potential to produce data errors so that the author can find out the process inputting data for incoming and outgoing containers at the depot of PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines Batam Branch, constraints or obstacles in the implementation of inputting data for incoming and outgoing containers at the depot of PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines Batam Branch and solutions to overcome obstacles or obstacles in the implementation of inputting data for incoming and outgoing containers at the depot of PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines Batam Branch.
