Abstract
The problem that the author found in this study was the process of inputting incoming and outgoing ship pilot movements using BAMS (Batam Administration Management System) data at PT Pelindo (Persero) Batam Branch. The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of incoming and outgoing ship guidance using BAMS data at PT Pelindo (Persero) Batam Branch and to find out what obstacles are faced when guiding incoming and outgoing ships using BAMS data at PT Pelindo (Persero)Batam Branch. The place of this research was conducted at PT Pelindo (Persero) Batam Branch, Jl. Sea Horse, Jodoh River, Kec. Batu Ampar, Batam City, Riau Archipelago. which was carried out from February to August 2023. The research method used was direct observation of BAMS data input officers, interviews with BAMS data input officers, and direct documentation with BAMS input officers. The results of the study indicate that the cause of the error in the BAMS data input process is because the user service has not paid for the scouting services so that the service ID number has not been issued. In addition, the conclusion of this study is that when inputting the required data, such as SPK, Hold Funds, PPKB, Form 2A -1 as supporting data for the implementation of incoming and outgoing ship guidance using BAMS data.
