Abstract

The bridge is a part that connects one place to another which is separated by natural geographical conditions. Along with technological developments in the field of civil engineering, to carry out inspections of the condition of existing bridges in the Bantan District area, this research utilizes UAV (ummanned aerial vehicle) technology to identify and classify bridge damage. The results of this study are that on the results of the aerial photographs that have been taken, only 2 damages are visible, while manually there are 11 damages that can be classified according to data 4.1 so the results of these 2 methods cannot be compared. Therefore, so far manual inspection is more effective for visual classification of damage to the Sungai Liong bridge than UAV technology both in terms of ease of visualization, ease of survey because it does not require UAV equipment, does not require many surveyors and is efficient in terms of survey costs.
