Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out how the loading and unloading of goods is carried out at the depot of PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines Pekanbaru Branch, and to find out the obstacles faced by PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines Pekanbaru Branch in carrying out loading and unloading. The research method used is descriptive qualitative using data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted for 2 months from May to July. The results of the study indicate that the process of carrying out the loading and unloading of containers at the depot of PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines Pekanbaru branch has not run optimally because the procedures have not gone well, so it takes a lot of time and has the potential to produce errors in the implementation of loading and unloading so that the author can find out the process of carrying out the unloading loading of containers at the depot of PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines Pekanbaru Branch is carried out, constraints or obstacles in the process of loading and unloading containers at the depot of PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines Pekanbaru Branch
