Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out the activities of PT Pelayaran Cahaya Papua when onboard at Futong Port. The formulation of the problem found by the author what are the procedures for On Board activities at Futong port and how to minimize risks in carrying out On Board activities at Futong port. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, the research data obtained through data collection methods. The data collection method used in this research is the observation method as the main method and the interview method, as well as the documentation method as a supporting method. Sungai Pakning, being an agent at Futong, can directly carry out the loading and unloading process. When the ship arrives at Futong waters, the agent will make contact with the pilot to dock left or right, when the ship is docked at the pier, the agent will be on board and the activities on board will only take arrival conditions and Nautice Off Readiness. the agent must stand by at the port to monitor the loading and unloading process. The factors that become the first hazard are bad weather. If the weather is not possible, it is a great obstacle to the docking process and also the loading and unloading process. the inhibitor
