Abstract

Ramp door is a ramp door construction on a ship that functions to access the entry and exit of vehicles or cargo to be transported by a ship. To ensure that the ramp door can accept the loads from these vehicles, a strength analysis of the ramp door construction will be carried out using FEM-based structural static analysis software. From the results of software testing, the maximum voltage/stress value occurs in the 0° angle ramp door of 63.071 Mpa, and in the -5 ° angle ramp door a voltage value of 56.764 Mpa, as well as the 5 ° angle ramp door obtained the same voltage value as the -5 ° angle ramp door, namely with a voltage value of 56.764 Mpa, Likewise, the 5° angle ramp door obtained the same voltage value as the -5° angle ramp door, which is with a voltage value of 56.764 Mpa. The safety factor value of the ramp door analyzed meets the requirements according to the rules of the Indonesian Classification Bureau, namely the safety factor value on the ramp door with an angle of 0 ° is 3.72 N/mm2, on the ramp door with an angle of -5 ° is 4.13 N/mm2 and on the ramp door with an angle of 5 ° is 4.13 N/mm2.
