Abstract

This research is related to the mechanism for implementing occupational safety and health as a scout to prevent work accidents at PT. Dumai Branch of Pelindo Maritime Services Subholding. The research objective is to determine the implementation of work safety implementation mechanisms at PT. Subholding Pelindo Maritime Services Dumai Branch and sanctions for those who do not implement occupational safety and health at PT. Dumai Branch of Pelindo Maritime Services Subholding. This research was carried out from Ma rch to August 2024 and the location of this research was carried out at PT. Dumai Branch of Pelindo Maritime Services Subholding. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The method used to obtain the information needed by related parties is that researchers prepare observation, interview and documentation methods. The results of this research found that the mechanism for implementing occupational safety and health as a guide to prevent work accidents at PT. Pelindo Jasa Maritime Subholding Dumai Branch has implemented the safety and health of pilot work but there are still some workers who have not fully implemented this well and the sanctions given to workers for those who do not follow the rules in using complete personal safety equipment are given a written warning and sanctions. suspension/suspension of work, sanctions given aim to increase workers' awareness of the importance of using complete personal safety equipment.
