Abstract

This precast concrete drainage is a substitute for masonry as a concrete forming material. Processed properly and make this precast concrete drainage has a stronger strength. This test includes development with reference to the use of materials from concrete as a substitute for masonry. Because the use of masonry is currently rarely encountered and usedin the field. Therefore it is necessary to do an innovation to replace the use of masonry materials, on of which is by using precast concrete drainage for simple house areas. The purpose of this test is to determine the magnitude of the buckling strength produced by the drainage. With the size that is made based on the case study road gg. Hj ramlah with dimensions of 50 cm long, 26 cm wide, 26 cm high and 3 cm thick. As for the method used for this test is using the JIS 5345 method. For this test used a compressive strength machine (hydraulic jack). The object of this test is drainage which is treated for 7 and 28 days. This research was conducted on U-Ditch drainage from sample 1 to sample 6. Each has dimensions of 50 cm long, 26 cm wide, 26 cm high, and 3 cm thick. The result of this test obtained the hightest buckling strength value is 6,76 kN. This test shows that the greater the compressive strength, the greater the buckling strength produced.
