Abstract

The Phase 1 construction of the Dumai Porprov Stadium is a strategic project that demands a high level of precision, particularly in construction surveying activities. Errors in the measurement process can lead to structural misalignment, project delays, and financial losses. Therefore, the application of appropriate, effective, and field-adapted surveying methods is crucial. This study aims to identify the types of construction work that require surveying, describe the implementation procedures of the surveying methods used, and analyze their application results in the stadium construction project. The survey methods employed include the Stake Out method based on coordinates (X, Y, Z), the Stake Out method based on horizontal angle (HA) and horizontal distance (HD), as well as the Cut and Fill method for measuring and determining the elevation of fill in the football field area. The research methodology includes literature study, field observation, collection of primary data using an Auto Level Waterpass, and secondary data from the CAD Reader application. The results indicate that the three methods complement each other and provide accurate field measurements in the Dumai Porprov Stadium Phase 1 construction. Overall, the implementation of these three survey methods improves measurement accuracy, enhances time efficiency, and minimizes field measurement errors, thereby supporting the successful completion of the Dumai Porprov Stadium Phase 1 project from start to finish.
