Abstract

The construction of Awal Bross Hospital in Dumai City caused controversy due to non-compliance with traffic recommendations provided by the Transportation Agency. Despite the approval and recommendation of andalalin, the hospital did not follow the recommendation, especially related to the traffic regulation around the site in the form of direction separation. This has the potential to cause negative impacts on traffic on Jalan Jend Sudirman. The analysis shows that for the existing condition with dipping shows a degree saturation value of 0.32 and the future shows a degree saturation value of 0.40. Whereas, in the previous study, the degree of saturation value for future conditions with a dip is 0.68. The decrease in DJ value indicates that the implementation of andalalin recommendations has had a positive impact on traffic performance on Jl. Jend Sudirman.
