Abstract

This final assignment (TA) aims to find out how the ISPS Code (International Ship and Port Security) is implemented to increase the security of human resources at PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental Sei Pakning, what efforts are made to improve security understanding and what actions are taken to fulfill regulations Law No.17 of 2008. The method used is observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the cargo research show that the implementation of the ISPS Code (International Ship and Port Security) to improve the security of human resources at PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental Sei Pakning, the implementation of the ISPS Code has gone well and optimally, but regarding the human resources at this marine port is still not optimal due to limited human resources who are not yet very competent, including workers and employees who do not yet understand, apply existing and established rules, duties and responsibilities, use tools correctly when carrying out ISPS Code drills and are hampered and It took more time than the training estimate that had been set because this exercise.
