Abstract

The research objective of this final assignment is related to ship agency services at PT. Arta Naarga Persada Lampung branch, obstacles that occur in ship agency services at PT. Arta Naarga Persada Lampung branch, and the efforts that must be made to improve ship agency services at PT. Arta Naarga Persada Lampung branch. This research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The method used to obtain the required information from related parties is that researchers prepare observation, interview and documentation methods as support. The results of this research are that ship agency services have been running well, but there are still some things that need to be improved, the obstacles are lack of employees, lack of communication between agents and ships, technical problems, lack of facilities and infrastructure at PT. Arta Naarga Persada Lampung branch, and efforts to improve services include increasing the number of employees, increasing marketing activities for ship agents, and building trust in ship agency service users..
