Abstract
Roro Bengkalis Port as the organizer, provider of shipping and crossing facilities plays a very important role in providing effective services to service users. The aim of this research is to measure the level of effectiveness of passenger services at the Bengkalis Roro port. The method used in collecting data uses observation methods, direct and indirect interviews (questionnaires) and documentation. The sampling technique used the Accidental Sampling technique and the sample used was 146 people. The results of this research are to determine the facilities and infrastructure that support the effectiveness of services provided by the port for the comfort of passengers/drivers such as ticket counters, queue lines, waiting rooms, children's playgrounds, prayer rooms, canteens, parks, rooms where mothers breastfeed. and CCTV cameras. The factors that hinder the effectiveness of services at Roro ports are: damage to the pier, bad weather conditions and limited personnel. and how to improve the effectiveness of services at the Bengkalis roro port, such as the port is currently developing an online ticketing system (E-Tikecting). With this online ticket system, it can reduce the number of queues that have increased at the Bengkalis roro port.
