Abstract

Management of boiler combustion residue as an important aspect in the pulp and paper industry. PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk Perawang faces challenges in monitoring the ash level in the combustion residue tank, which affects boiler performance and product quality. This research aims to design and implement a level sensor-based monitoring sistem to monitor ash volume in real-time. This sistem integrates level sensors with monitoring software to provide accurate data. The research results show that this sistem is able to provide accurate real-time data, increase operational efficiency, and reduce the risk of boiler failure. These findings have the potential to be applied in the pulp and paper industry to improve combustion residue management and support operational sustainability.
