Abstract

Launching is the process of lowering a ship from the launch pad to the water surface using gravity or by providing additional thrust that acts on an inclined plane. This launching calculation is necessary to avoid the ship from impact and friction conditions. Traditionally, launch calculations are usually made manually and take a relatively long time. Therefore, along with advances in technology, computer applications have been created to simplify and speed up the implementation of calculations and display launch diagrams. In this final project, the launch calculations carried out are based on the type of longitudinal launch{end launching) Creating curves in the launch diagram. Predictions for determining the weight of the ship when the ship is launched are calculated using the Lloyd Register "64 approach. The ship data and ship displacement calculations used in this application are from previous research. The benefits that can be taken from this program are time efficiency, automation of curve reading -Lloyd Register'64 curve, the accuracy of calculations and drawings is more precise, the drawing production rate is faster, does not require repetition of drawings, the curve shape is better and neater, input files can be saved, and does not require major development of the displayed launch diagram.
