Abstract

Cut Nyak Dien road is the main access road for the activity center and residential areas of Purnama Village, Dumai City, and is a national road. Based on the results of observations at the road, the number of vehicles and the type of vehicle load caused by the movement of heavy vehicles in and out of Gatot Subroto road towards Cut Nyak Dien road, causing congestion and the accumulation of vehicles that were overloaded so that capacity the road is not strong enough to withstand the load and will be damaged before its service life expires. This planning comparison to determine the damage to the road using the Bina Marga method. then to find out the comparison between pavement thickness, budget plan, and road service life based on the actual LHR value and standard LHR to obtain a pavement thickness design that is under the LHR conditions in these two conditions using the MDPJ 2017 method. From this planning, the result of the evaluation of road damage is road improvement and the pavement thickness based on the actual LHR value is 30.5 cm with a planned budget of Rp.10,620,126,328.00. While the pavement planning based on the standard LHR value obtained a pavement thickness design of 29.5 cm with a planned budget of Rp 10,530,620,487.00. The service life obtained is 17.8 years and does not reach the planned age.
