Abstract
In the face of competition in the current era of globalization which is growing very rapidly, it is very important for companies engaged in photography to be able to adapt. At this time, the process of ordering photography services on Rupat Island is still done manually, namely by placing an order using a cellphone or photography service seekers who must come directly to the photography studio to order services, forward through social media, and ask for recommendations from friends, relatives. Or relatives, making it difficult to find a prospective provider of photography services as needed. In this research, an online Photography Service Ordering Application will be designed using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter framework and MySql as a database management system. This application is equipped with features such as online ordering, payments, filter menus, maps, and there are rating and review features. From the results of trials that have been carried out on a website-based photography service ordering application on Rupat Island, the results show that this application can help photography service providers on Rupat Island in promoting their photography services easily, and can help photography service seekers find information and order photography services as needed.
