Abstract
This study aims to determine fluctuations in gold prices on gold pawn products during the covid 19 pandemic at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Dumai Branch and find out changes in customers of gold pawn products during the covid 19 pandemic at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Dumai Branch. The results of this study indicate that the change in gold in 2020 during the pandemic experienced ups and downs. So that changes in gold prices greatly affect the interest of customers who want to pawn their gold. Changes in gold prices must also be considered and become a benchmark for customers who want to pawn their gold or sell their gold according to the needs desired by the customer. Changes in the number of customers occur because customers cannot predict when the pandemic will end, so pawning gold is one of the solutions for customers to survive during this pandemic with a very unstable economic situation. Therefore, pawning customers' gold is a solution in order to survive during the pandemic.
