Abstract

manufacture of animal feed crushing machine. Making this tool has a function to make it easier for cattle farmers to cut or chop elephant grass. After making observations, the next stage is planning, which includes designing drawings, calculations to determine the components that will be used. The final stage is the manufacturing or assembly process. With the elephant grass chopper for livestock which is designed with a capacity of 50 kg/hour, where this tool has 6 straight blades, it is hoped that it will be able to chop elephant grass with faster and more evenly distributed results compared to chopper machines that have a curved blade design. So that it can help speed up the enumeration process, namely by entering elephant grass into the chopping machine and then small pieces that are ready to be given to livestock will come out.
