Abstract

In line with the increase in population, territory, and infrastructure development, the consumption of people in indonesia for the use of electrical energy is increasing and has become a necessity of people’s daily lives. At this time, there are so many people who are not aware of the use of electrical energy which causes the use of electrical energy to be ineffective. For example leaving electrical appliances at home not being used as needed, such as leaving the light on oven though they are not needed. Because of the lack of public awareness to save energy users, it is necessary to measure the use of energy to facilitate the process of saving and the efficiency that can be obtained. In working on this thesis the author carries out energy efficiency/electrical power by utilizing IoT (Internet of Things) where this system is able to control on and off loads (Light and Air Conditioner) as needed via a wifi network, so it can be done remotely. From this study, the average power value of the lamp load was 274,2 watts with an accuracy percentage of 0,014, for an AC load the average power is 605,176 watts with an accuracy percentage of 0,412%.
