Abstract

The reliability of the electric power system is related to the quality of the electric power service to load. for customers or users of electric power, the quality of service in the show comfort for the user and also the security of equipment used, with the reliability of the system reliability analysis, to determine frequency of outages or System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI ) conducted research by using data research assuming customer out of 150 and subscriber number 350 and micro Arduino uno as a functioning tool to record how many times the power system went out, then analyzed to determine the frequency of outage or System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI ), Based on the blackout times recorded on the tool design which then the data in the analysis that has obtained the results of its SAIFI value is 3,428 blackouts / customers / week while the electricity network that can be said reliable by the PLN is 3 times blackouts / customer / year, the value is the value formed by PT PLN (PERSERO ).
