Abstract

Currently, composite materials are alternative materials to replace metal, therefore new breakthroughs are expected to be a way out for the continuity of engineering activities.The results of this test found that the highest epoxy resin stress value of 30.568 N/mm² for the addition of a composite composition of 7 gram meranti sawdust particles had a higher stress value than the 3 gram one which was 13,584 while the 3 gram stress value was 13,517. The composition of meranti sawdust in thetensile test particle composite experienced a decrease in the tensile quality of the epoxy resin, while from the bending test the quality increased with the addition of the meranti sawdust composition which can be seen from the calculation of the Stress and Elasticity Modulus of the 3 gram composition. The stress value is 29,598 N/mm² while the 7 grams are 48,556 N/mm² and 19,834 N/mm² Epoxy Resin.
