Abstract

BA waste is stone ash that has undergone grinding in the shell and fruit fiber combustion process at 700ºC to 800ºC which settles under the furnace. This study aims to reduce BA waste by utilizing the waste as a substitute for sand in the AC-WC mixture. The specifications that will be used refer to the bina marga 2018 specifications. From the KAR test that meets the specifications for KAO, namely the asphalt content of 5%, based on the proportion of the weight of the waste mixture to be used, namely 0%, 225, 24%, 26% and 28%. For each variation 3 samples will be made. From the results of Marshall's test on the effect of BA levels, it was found that with the addition of BA waste used as a substitute for sand, none of them met the overall specifications. When compared with 0% BA, it turns out that 0% meets the specifications with the value of Stability = 2437.77 kg, Flow = 2.60%, Vfa = 79.18%, Vma = 15.15%, Vim = 3.22% and MQ = 1030.43 kg/mm.
